Awesome Work Night!

Thank you to all of you who came to participate and share in our first Harvest of Talents work night! The evening was a blast, and the HOT team was SO inspired by all of the neat projects happening! We will definitely be scheduling another work night SOON, so get ready! :)

We have so many creative & talented people committed to contributing THEIR talent in this awesome effort for world hunger. For those of you who weren't able to make it, we missed you! And we hope that you are inspired by the projects already in progress. Actually, while so many of the projects LOOKED awesome, a lot of them were just simple ideas found in a magazine or website. Don't be afraid to branch out!

This small group from Lakeway has chosen the shims mirror project mentioned in a previous blog. This project was SO simple but is turning out really neat! It's a great project for a large group. To change it up a little, we decided to paint each section of shims, and arrange them in a pattern.

This small group has decided to put their own twist on the map project mentioned in a previous blog. They worked all night decoupaging the background of this map with scrapbook paper! They've got a ways to go, but the final project is sure to be incredible.

This group found this neat idea for a 4-panel tree on pinterest! Each of the four panels is a different color to represent a different season. HOW COOL?!

And check this out! Molly found this idea on Pinterest too! She is putting CRAYONS through a hot glue gun to create these BEAUTIFUL canvasses! I've never seen anything like it. On May 20, I will definitely have to keep my eye on this collection!
