Projects for Small Groups

As Denise posted earlier, Crossings is hosting a Harvest of Talents work night on Sat., March 10th at 7pm in the conference room at 4MS. We would love for you to come with a group of friends or your small group to work on a project together. If you are unsure of what to take on as a project, I found some cute projects that look fairly easy. :) Please come with your supplies and friends to work on your creation! We will also have a simple group project for those individuals who would like to have something to work on, but are unsure of where to start! Please come out and spread the word!

Group Project Ideas!

Ok. So next weekend is our first HOT work night! I am so excited about it. If you haven't heard, Crossings Knoxville is hosting a work night. The idea is everyone comes together for the evening and works on projects! WOO HOO! :) We hope ALL OF YOU will be there: Saturday, Mar 10 @ 7p in the upstairs conference room at 4MS.

In the meantime, we are encouraging small groups to consider doing projects together! I've been Pinteresting all night trying to find some neat ideas. I'm still trying to think of something larger - maybe a mosaic or a piece of furniture? But it's been fun searching! Here's what I've come up with!

Lookin forward to seeing what the rest of you come up with!

Textured Letters:
The full idea for this can be found at http://kidsactivitiesblog.com/diy-fabric-wall-letters-2/. Its burlap & yarn. These would be so cute as a border or decoration in a kids bedroom or pre-k classroom.

Coasters:

Scrapbook paper & tiles. DONE! THIS SITE has some really cute "manly" versions too...

Mirror Project by Denise :)

So it was so neat to be able to share our HOT vision with the Crossings Leadership community this morning. I can't wait to see everybody's ideas for projects! I've been keeping an eye out for projects I can do.
This project is one I found in a home renovation magazine. It doesn't take any special talent or creativity - just some shims from home depot and a mirror! I've been brainstorming ways to change it up - maybe paint some of the shims or decoupage them? I'm open to ideas!
