Get Involved

There are SO many ways to get involved with Harvest of Talents East Tennessee! This project depends 100% on YOUR involvement!

CREATE
Everybody has a talent! Dig deep and figure out what YOU can do to contribute! HOT needs people to commit to starting their projects NOW! Not sure where to start? Here are some ideas we've seen before:

PRAY
November  Prayer List:
- That the logistics and details of the April 21st  event comes together
- That we have enough projects and volunteers for the April 21st event
- That our hearts and minds would realize that this is not our mission, but it is God's and He will orchestrate this event

- Transformation and cultivation of generosity will occur in leaders and people involved
- Wisdom, discernment, and communication for handling logistics
- That a discovery of God given talents will occur amongst individuals and that they will be willing to donate those gifts
- That people from both churches will be excited about this endeavor and desire to get involved
- Community publicity, participation, and awareness will grow
- That we will be good stewards of our money, so that we have more money to give
- That relationships between local churches will develop
- That the money from the 2012 auctions will impact the people that receive it and that it will glorify God

Answer to Prayer from last month:
- Both the Knoxville and Morristown events were a huge success! We raised $11, 510!
- The involvement of the Crossings and LCC Community
- We have added on 2 new members, Hayley Abernathy and Sarah Broyles, to our Harvest of Talents team

VOLUNTEER

- ORGANIZATION: as we collect items for sale, we will need volunteers to categorize & label items.
- SETUP: On May 6, to bring in and take out items. And the week of & morning of October 6, to set up the entire site!
- FOOD: On October 6, HOT will sell a full breakfast & lunch, with snacks in between. We need cooks & servers!
- ADVERTISEMENT: We need help getting the word out! Radio shows, fliers, TV commercials - anything!  If you have means or contacts, please help!
