Successful Kickoff!!

We just recently completed our first Harvest of Talents in East TN! It was a huge success! It was an incredible day of generosity and talents from our community. In 1 hour we raised a total of $4,580! Some other ways to look at it is that that is 11,743 pounds of beans, or 13,470 pounds of maize, or 11,450 pounds of rice for hungry people around the world! We believe that God has a heart for the poor, the hungry, the widowed, and the orphaned. In the midst of us trying to respond to this, God showed up in a huge way. We continue to pray that God will work to transform our community in to one that is truly generous. Enjoy the pictures of the auction below and please join us on October 6, 2012 out in Morristown for Harvest of Talents East TN Phase 2! :)
